Armandina Gonzales Luna of Lodi passed away in Sacramento on December 22, 2005 at the age of 62. Armandina was born in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico on January 27, 1943 to Felix and Maria Luna. Her family moved to the United States when she was very young, settling in Lodi in 1957. She worked for Pacific Coast Producers for 32 years, retiring in 2003. Armandina enjoyed traveling especially to Hawaii, shopping and having lunch with her friends, but most importantly, she loved spending time with her granddaughters and daughter. She was a very thoughtful, caring person, a free spirit, and she will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Graciela "Gracy" Hernandez of Galt; 2 granddaughters, Chanel and Ciera Calvin of Galt; 4 brothers, Felix (Karen) Luna of Modesto, Albert (Jeanette) Luna of Galt, Manuel Luna of Oceanside and Henry Luna of Lodi; sister, Cristina (Ron) Barry of Lodi and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Maria Luna, father, Felix Luna, brother, Roy Luna. A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be said on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. There is no visitation, and committal is private.
