Obituary of Rose V. McCormick

Rose V. McCormick, 74, of Lodi, passed away on November 22, 2005 in a Roseville hospital. Mrs. McCormick was born November 19, 1931 in Boston, Massachusetts to Phillip and Mary Vitale. She was a homemaker and loved to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoyed golfing, interior decorating, and playing bridge and scrabble with friends. Rose will be best remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Her kindness and generosity was only exceeded by her faith and devotion to family. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Mr. Roger McCormick of Lodi; her four sons: David and wife Beth of Palo Alto, Rick and wife Paula of Wilton, Brian and Fiancee Lori of Palo Alto, Stephen and wife Nancy of Wilton; ten grandchildren: Michael, Brittney, Kevin, Ryan, Paul, Katie-Rose, Jonathan, Mary-Grace, Luke and Jacob; brothers, Leo, John, Sal and Dante Vitale; and sisters Virginia Bechthold, Gloria Bennett and Florence Weng, all of Lodi. She was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Vitale. A chapel service will be held Wednesday, November 30 at 10:00 a.m. at Lodi Funeral Home, followed by interment at Cherokee Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit Tuesday, November 29, 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. Memorial remembrances may be made to the Susan G.
