Obituary of Victoria Durham

Victoria "Vicky" Smith Durham of Woodbridge passed away surrounded by her family and pastor on Thursday, November 17, 2005 at the age of 41in Stockton. Vicky was born in Berkeley, California on June 30, 1964. Her family moved to this area when she was a young child, and she attended local schools, graduating from Tokay High School in 1982. She went on to Delta College, graduating with her A.A., continuing her studies at Cabrillo College in Santa Cruz where she became a dental hygienist. On November 13, 1993, she married Bob Durham in Stockton. Vicky worked in the her field of dental hygiene for 18 years, having worked for Dr. Edward Graham and Dr. Frank Portale in Stockton before she retired. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lodi. Vicky enjoyed cooking, water skiing, scuba diving and most recently, helping teach in her son's classroom, but her greatest love was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to many, and she will be so greatly missed. Vicky is survived by her husband, Bob Durham of Woodbridge; son, John Lee Durham of Woodbridge; mother, Rosemarie Freeman of Acampo; father, Donald Smith of Escalon and brother, Ed Smith of Stockton. Friends may visit on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., continuing Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and are invited to attend Funeral Services on Monday, November 28th at 1:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home with Pastor Glen Barnes of First Baptist Church officiating. Interment will immediately follow. Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society, Lodi Unit, 207 East Alpine Avenue, Stockton, CA 95204.
