Mr. Stanley Elwin Maylone of Lodi passed away in Stockton at the age of 90 on November 12, 2005. Mr. Maylone was born in Fairplay, California on October 23, 1915 to Elwin and Winnie Maylone. He married Ida Fredrickson on September 21, 1938 in Martinez. They later solemnized their marriage vows in the Oakland Temple on September 2, 1995. He was the production supervisor for United States Steel Corporation for 30 years. He and his wife settled in Lodi in 1987. They also lived in Pittsburg, Antioch, Concord, Pacheco, CA and Bluff, Utah. He was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints of Jesus Christ, 2nd Ward on Century Blvd. He enjoyed traveling immensely and his temple attendance, but most importantly his family. Mr. Maylone is survived by his son, Gordon Stanley Maylone of Concord; daughter, Marilyn Lee (James H., Jr.) Byrne of San Ramon; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ida Maylone on September 25, 1999 and sister, Gladys Dean. Services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 PM at the LDS Church, 2nd Ward on Century Blvd with committal to immediately follow. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Lodi Funeral Home.
