Mary Francis Diacon of Lodi passed away in Lodi at the age of 52 on October 17, 2005. Mary was born on July 4, 1953 to Clyde Eugene and Joyce Lou McQueen in Lodi, CA. She attended local schools. She had worked at Hunts Cannery in Davis as well as Topper's Party Supply; however, she spent most of her time caring for her family. She enjoyed church retreats, but her greatest love was being with her grandchildren. Mary is survived by her children Melissa (Bruce) Meredith of Lodi, Johnny (Nicholle) Diacon of Lodi, Rebecca (Brad) Finch of Montgomery, Texas; grandchildren, Joseph, Brett, Jacob, Brianna, Daidree and Trent; parents, Gene and Joyce McQueen of Lodi; siblings, Michael (Vicki) McQueen of Lodi, Nancy (Scott) Moffet of Lodi; Brian (Jacki) McQueen of Lodi and Beth (Joe) Preszler of Lodi and loving nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Monday at New Hope Freewill Baptist Church at 10:00 AM with Pastor Jimmy McClelland officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM on Saturday, until 6:00 PM, continuing on Sunday from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Freewill Baptist Church, 345 E. Elm Street, Lodi, CA 95240.
