She met Ronald Hackett and later, on April 19, 1959, she married Ron in Lodi at St. Anne's Catholic Church. From 1959 until 1980 they lived in Sacramento. In 1980, they moved to Thornton where Ron & Company, a hair salon, was established. Among the many things that she accomplished, Diane served as a Commissioner on San Joaquin County Housing Authority for 12 years. She was a caregiver to many, and she loved to entertain and cook for large groups of people. Diane is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ronald Hackett of Thornton; children, Lori Louise Hackett of Thornton, Michael Patrick (Nancy) Hackett of Las Vegas and Craig (Toni) Hackett of Las Vegas; three grandchildren, Steven Hackett, Francesco Hackett and Karlee Hackett.
