Josephine Elizabeth Barham of Lodi passed away in Lodi on October 11, 2005 at the age of 89. Mrs. Barham was born in Oakland, CA on February 12, 1916 to Anthony and Angelina Piciotto. She resided most of her life in Oakland and Berkeley. On October 11, 1936, she married Elden R. Barham at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Oakland. She enjoyed cooking, but her greatest joy was her family, doing things for her family. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara (David) Ghinassi of Loomis and Joan (James) Ory of Herald; 5 grandchildren, Julie Shelnutt, Janet Mawson, Michael Ory, Joseph Ory and Jennifer Ory; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Grace Patterson of San Francisco. Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, Elden Raymond Barham on June 4, 1983; three brothers and one sister. A service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward with Deacon Leonard Bettencourt of St.John the Baptist Catholic Church of San Lorenzo officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM.
