Obituary of Nona Talley

Nona Talley of Lodi passed away in Stockton on September 26, 2005 at the age of 67. Mrs. Talley was born in Watouga, Oklahoma on August 6, 1938 to Joseph and Mary Beauchamp. She enjoyed shopping, knitting, sewing, quilting and cooking for her family, but her greatest love was to care for her children and grandchildren. She will be so dearly missed. She attended Calvary Bible Church in Lodi. Nona is survived by her husband, Harold Talley of Acampo; children, Connie (husband, John) Biedel of Sacramento, Lois (husband, Drew) Palmer of Stockton and Mark (wife, Kris) Talley of Acampo; 8 grandchildren, Michelle and Stephanie Perkins, Julie and Sarah Iverson, Jennifer Johnson, Lauren, Matthew and Jack Talley; one great-grandchild, Christian Castillo; 3 sisters, Omega Jackson of Modesto, Lorene Hicks of Livermore and Joann Howell of El Dorado Hills; 3 brothers, Don Beauchamp of Fiddletown, Wayne Beauchamp of Folsom and James Beauchamp of New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Johnson in July of 2003 and her grandson, Jason Johnson in 1985. A chapel service will be held at Lodi Funeral Home on Friday at 2:00 PM with Pastor Sam Stoner officiating. Committal will immediately follow. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial contributions may be made to donor's choice.
