Epaminondas "Bob" Paraskevopoulos of Lodi passed away suddenly on September 3, 2005 at the age of 62. Bob was born in Greece on October 23, 1943 to Konstantinos and Konstantina Paraskevopoulos. He came to Canada in 1956. He returned to Greece and on May 18, 1969 he married Harriet Rantis. They moved to Canada, finally settling in Lodi in July of 1978. He was self-employed in the trucking industry, owner of E. P. Trucking. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, but his first priority was his grandchildren and his family. He will be dearly missed. He was a member of St. Basil Greek Orthodox Church. Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Harriet Paraskevopoulos of Lodi; son, Gus (wife, Alecha) Paraskevopoulos of Lodi; daughter, Tina (husband, Matt) Sweyd of Sacramento and son, Paul Paraskevopoulos of Lodi; four grandchildren, Nicholas, Jordan and Erin Paraskevopoulos and Brianna Sweyd; brother, Tom Paraskevopoulos of Canada and sister Mary Liolios of Canada. Services will be held at Lodi Funeral Home on Friday at 10:00 AM with committal to immediately follow. The Trisagion will be at 7:00 PM on Thursday. Visitation will begin on Thursday at 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM. A virtual register book may be signed at www.lodifuneralhome.com where memories may be shared.
