Obituary of Nancy Barba

Nancy Barba passed away in Kings County, Kettleman City, on August 24, 2005 from injuries sustained in a car accident. Nancy was born in Lodi on February 24, 1979 to Javier and Martha Barba. She attended local schools and graduated from Lodi High School in 1997. She was currently employed at Kaiser Hospital in Stockton as a medical assistant. She had previously worked at Lodi Memorial Adult Clinic. She enjoyed dancing, music, her friends, "Tweety Bird". She will be remembered not only for her love of friends and life, but for her great sense of humor. But most importantly, she loved her family, and she will be so dearly missed by all. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. Nancy is survived by her parents, Javier and Martha Barba of Acampo; six sisters, Angie Barba of Lodi, Aimee, Jackie , Natalie, Elizabeth and Dezeri Barba, all of Acampo; fianc, Efren Rodriquez of Stockton, niece, Alexis Jasmine Atencio-Barba; grandparents, Leandro and Regina Barba of Acampo, Angel and Sara Herrera of San Fernando Valley and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Lodi with committal to follow immediately. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be said at 7:00 PM on Monday at Lodi Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Monday at 8:00 AM until the conclusion of the Rosary.
