Lloyd Fletcher Scott of Sacramento passed away in Sacramento on August 23, 2005 at the age of 82. Mr. Scott was born in Okemah, Oklahoma on July 15, 1923 to Marion and Ola Scott. He came to California in 1931. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Italy during WWII. He had been a dairyman, but most of his life, from 1942-1983, he was a truck driver, having worked for Safeway before he retired. He was well versed in many things, enjoying traveling, music, playing his guitar, his vegetable garden and carpentry work. However, his great love was not only his church family, where he served as a senior leader, but most importantly, his family. He will be dearly missed. He was a member of South Pointe Christian Church in Sacramento. Lloyd is survived by his wife, Winnie Scott of Sacramento; children, Randy Scott and Reba Scott of Homedale, ID, Allen and Sharon Scott of Elk Grove, CA, Norma and Lyle Pate of Elk Grove, CA, Rod and Michelle Crumpacker of Rocklin, CA, Darryl Crumpacker of Alameda, CA and Sherri Crumpacker of Galt, CA; grandchildren, Selena Elordi, Nick, Bradley Scott, Bebe, Jacie Scott, Jeffrey Scott, Zack Pate, Jake Pate, Sarah Crumpacker, Elizabeth Crumpacker, Rebekah Crumpacker, Sebastian and Berkley Crumpacker, Tara Wright and Ashton Wright; great-grandchildren, William, Cody and Garett Elordi and Bailey Scott; siblings, Troy Scott (Jewel) of Modesto, Orville Scott (Juanita) of Merced and Norma (Ted) Knapp of Manteca. He was preceded in death by spouses, Lavada Scott and Imogene Scott; sisters, Mabel Hastings and Wanda Lee Scott and son LeRoy Scott. Services will be held on Saturday at South Pointe Christian Church, 7520 Stockton Blvd, Sacramento at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jack Wright officiating. Committal will follow immediately at South East Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday at Galt Funeral Home, 702 B Street in Galt from 12 noon until 8:00 PM.
