Obituary of Florence June Reiswig

Florence June Reiswig, a long-time resident of Lodi, passed away in Lodi on Monday July 18, 2005 at the age of 85. Mrs. Reiswig was born in Goodrich, N.D. on June 14, 1920 to John and Minnie Magstead. She married Ervin Reiswig on June 25, 1943 in North Dakota. She had been an elementary school teacher, later moving to Lodi with her husband in September, 1959. They lived on a ranch for 11 years west of Lodi. She and her husband owned the Nutrition Center in Lakewood Mall in the 1970's. She spent many hours studying and writing down her understanding of sermons and the Bible. She also enjoyed gardening and sewing. Mrs. Reiswig was a member of the Fairmont Seventh-day Adventist Church. She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Ervin Reiswig of Lodi; daughter, Karen Sheets of Colorado Springs, Colorado and sister, Addie Badondo of Stockton. She was preceded in death by her sister, Viola Bechthold. A chapel service will be held on Sunday at 10:00 A.M. at Lodi Funeral Home with Pastor Ralph Watts, III officiating. Committal will immediately follow. Visitation will begin on Friday from 2:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M., continuing on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M.
