Juanita Delgado of Lodi passed away in Lodi at the age of 82 on Thursday, July 14, 2005. Mrs. Delgado was born in Donna, Texas on October 21, 1922 to Seberiano and Martha Olvera. She married Antonia Delgado in 1936 in Texas. They moved to Indio, California in 1952, later moving to Lodi in 1965. She enjoyed gardening, baking, cooking, embroidery, crocheting and taking care of her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her beloved family. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. Mrs. Delgado is survived by her daughters; Lupie (George G.) Cox of Lodi, Theresa (Ramiro) Garcia of Indio, and Mary Delgado of Lodi; 9 grandchildren; Tony Cox, Kellie Cox Green, Tiffany Cox, Ida Ann Garcia, Albert Garcia, Chris Garcia, Ramiro Garcia, Jr., Shirley Delgado and Robert Delgado; 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Delgado in 1988; son, Raymond Delgado; grandsons, Lawrence and Elvis Delgado; 2 sisters and 1 brother. A chapel service will be held on Monday at 1:00 PM at Lodi Funeral Home. Committal will immediately follow. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will take place on Sunday at 1:00 PM at Lodi Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Sunday at 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM , continuing on Monday from 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
