Obituary of Jack Woznick

Mr. Jack Woznick of Lodi passed away Tuesday July 5, 2005 at his residence at the age of 56. Mr. Woznick was born March 20, 1949 in Minot, North Dakota to Lawrence and Doris Woznick. Mr. Woznick was raised in Washburn, North Dakota, where he excelled in athletics, and enjoyed hunting and working on the family farm. Mr. Woznick moved with his family to Lodi in July of 1967. He earned his teaching credentials and taught for Lodi Unified School District as an Elementary School Teacher for 23 years before retiring in 1997. He also worked for Tri-Valley Growers for 20 years. Mr. Woznick was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the California Teachers Association. He was enjoyed studying history and teaching science. In his spare time he could be found fishing, sailing, and loved cooking. His most enjoyable moments were spent with his cherished daughter, Ashley. He will be remembered by many friends who will miss him, and who are better for having known him. He now passed on to be with our savior, Jesus Christ. He is survived by his loving daughter, Ashley Woznick of Lockeford; Parents, Lawrence and Doris Woznick of Lodi; 2 brothers, Rodney Woznick and Michael Woznick of Lodi; 3 sisters Peggy Escobar of Cupertino; Gale Morrison of Saratoga; Linda Christy of Lodi; many aunts and uncles and eleven nieces and nephews, whom he was very proud of. He will be best remembered for his love of family. A private chapel service will be held at Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lodi Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Saturday 12:00 -6:00 pm at the Lodi Funeral Home.
