Arlo Lillian Reese of Lodi passed away in Lodi on July 4, 2005 at the age of 82. Mrs. Reese was born in Gretna, Louisiana on August 27, 1922 to Guy Lionel and Florence May Lesseigne. She married Jay Mark Reese, Sr. on December 15, 1943. She moved to Stockton in June of 1955 and moved to Lodi in 1980. Mrs. Reese had worked as a bookkeeper at the Lodi Sick Room for 15 years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Lodi First Ward on Century Blvd. She enjoyed reading, watching sporting events, crossword puzzles, traveling and shopping. She is survived by her children; Jay M. (Linda) Reese, Jr. of Lodi, Ray J. (Claudia) Reese of Lodi, Guy A. (Kim) Reese of Kissimmee, Florida, Barbara F. Reese of Reno, Susan F. (Lawrence) Allen of Lodi, Kay A. (Craig) Howell of West Jordan, Utah; 20 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; 3 sisters, Virginia Reese of Stockton, Catherine Bryant of Metairie, LA and Mary Jane Case of Pass Christian, Mississippi; brother, Paul Lasseigne of Metairie, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Mark Reese, Sr. in September, 2000 and grandson, Jeremy Alan Reese. A service will be held at Lodi First Ward, Century Blvd on Friday at 1:00 PM. Committal will immediately follow. Visitation will begin on Thursday at 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM, continuing Friday from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Lodi Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, CA 95204-1953.
