Please share a memory of David to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
DAVID DEAN RIDDLESPERGER, born June 5, 1947 at the old Buchanan Hospital in Lodi to Lowell T. Riddlesperger and Barbara Riddlesperger, went to his final rest on June 2, 2005 in his own home with his wife and his three doxies, Bailey, Beaner and Patches at his side. His father, Lowell and beloved pet, McMurphy are waiting for him at the gate. He leaves behind his wife, Joann of 39 years, his daughter, Gina and son, Brandon, his grandchildren, Mathew, Kristine and Robert, Jr.,; his mother, Barbara; his sister Carol and brother, Alan; his mother-in-law, Mary, who he loved to call "the old witch"; his sister-in-law, Cheri; brothers-in-law, Rory and Scott and many friends and neighbors. David graduated from Galt High School in 1965. He was known for his sharp "61" Chevy, that he had all "souped" up and loved to go out and find someone to race with, always winning, of course. He could tear an engine apart and put it back together; grease was his friend. He could be shown a picture of something that I wanted him to build, and he would build it. One of the last things he built was a potting shed in the backyard of his home. He loved to joke around with all people, and in his last years, he liked to call friends and family and joke with them. He will be dearly missed by all, especially his wife and three doxies, Bailey, Beaner and Patches. Rest in peace, my love. A graveside service will be held at Galt Cemetery on Friday, June 10th at 1:00 PM. There is no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to Xaviar's Rescue, Inc., 1166 Biloxi Park Court, Galt, CA 95632: 209-745-9853.
