Officer Brian L. McAllister of Lodi passed away unexpectedly Friday May 20, 2005 in Rogue River, Oregon at the age of 42. Officer McAllister was born October 3, 1961 in West Covina, California to Charles and Barbara McAllister. Officer McAllister worked for the California Highway Patrol for the past 17 years, most recent the South Sacramento Area Office. He attended and graduated from the Bryte, California Highway Patrol Academy in 1988. He was a member of the California Association of Highway Patrolmen. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed camping, water-sports, dirt biking and especially spending time with his family and friends. He will be best remembered as a loving husband, father, and son and for his devotions to helping others. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 9 years, Lori McAllister of Lodi; cherished daughter, Courtney McAllister of Lodi; father, Charles McAllister of Rogue River, Oregon; and mother in-law, Elaine Lindke of Sylmar, California; He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara McAllister. A memorial service will be held Thursday May 26, 2005, 12:00 noon at the Calvary Bible Church in Lodi, 18621 N. Hwy 99, Acampo, CA, followed by a private inurnment. Arrangements are by the Lodi Funeral Home.
