Mr. Jake Walter Kramer of Stockton passed away in Stockton at the age of 92 on May 14, 2005. Mr. Kramer was born in Wasta, S.D. to August and Essie Mae Kramer on April 24, 1913. He married Cleo Pearl Barsby on December 12, 1934 in Walthill, Nebraska. They moved to California in 1941. He was self-employed as a mechanicfor 60 years working in the automotive industry. Mr. Kramer enjoyed traveling,hiking, camping and deep sea fishing. He is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Cleo Kramer of Stockton; son, Cecil and wife, Marjorie Kramer of Acampo; Virgil and wife Lou Ellis Kramer of Montroe, Colorado, and Karen Mae Kramer Miller of Sunnyvale. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 5 brothers, John, Bill, Roy, Sam and Carl Kramer. A service will be held at Lodi Funeral Home on Wednesday at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jerry B. Chandler of Bible Methodist Church of Stockton and Gene Clark as officiants. Visitation will begin on Tuesday from 8:00AM-8:00 PM, continuing on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Memorial Contributions may be made to Bible Methodist Church, 2701 Michigan Avenue, Stockton, CA 95204.
