Obituary of Hilda H. Rempfer

Mrs. Hilda H. Rempfer of Lodi passed away in Lodi on April 28, 2005 at the age of 83. Mrs. Rempfer was born in Turtle Lake, N.D. on September 10, 1921 to Edward and Emilia Hofer. She moved to Lodi in 1946. On October 26, 1947, she married William E. Rempfer at Morris Chapel at UOP. Hilda was a member of St. Paul Church and was a Pink Lady at Lodi Memorial Hospital for 22 years. She enjoyed traveling, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Rempfer is survived by her son, Warren and wife, Susan Rempfer of Lodi; daughters, Sharon and husband, Monte Endicott of Sacramento and daughter Shirley Haze of Acampo; sister, Lorraine Anderson of Turtle Lake, N.D.; seven grandchildren, Kim, Jamie, Carrie, Staci, Monte, Jonah and Emily; four great-grandchildren, Tyler, Katilyn, Jade and Steven. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Rempfer in 1992 and daughter, Lynda D. Rempfer in 1977. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at Lodi Memorial Cemetery at 3:00 PM with Pastor Russ Creydt of St. Paul Lutheran Church officiating. Visitation will begin on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM, continuing Wednesday from 8:00 AM until noon at Lodi Funeral Home.
