Obituary of Edna Virginia Weller

Edna Virginia Weller of Galt passed away in Elk Grove on April 25, 2005 at the age of 86. Mrs. Weller was born in Venice Island, CA on May 28, 1918. She moved to this area 45 years ago. She had been employed as a cook for Community Hospital in Lodi for 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, knitting and traveling. Edna was a member of Lutheran Church Shepherd of the Valley in Galt. She also worked with Meals-on-Wheels. She is survived by two daughters, Evelyn, husband, Bob, Bartz of Nuevo, CA, Shirley Gorden of Galt and daughter-in-law, Faith Weller of Galt; 7 grandchildren and 8 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Christian Weller; son, Albert Weller and grandson, Chuck Gorden. There is no visitation, and committal will be private.
