Marilyn Patsy Mustin of Lodi passed away in Lodi at the age of 73 on March 10, 2005. Mrs. Mustin was born in Oakland, CA on March 11, 1931 to Edward and Thelma Deutscher. She lived in Lodi her entire life, graduating form Lodi High School in 1949. On November 2, 1951, she married David Mustin. For over 30 years she taught piano, and she played for over 45 years in church, First Assembly of God and First Baptist Church. She loved the Lord, and she loved her family and grandchildren. She had a wonderful gift, not only with music, but gardening, particularly flowers. Mrs. Mustin is survived by her husband, David Mustin of Lodi; sons, David T. (Teresa) Mustin of Lodi, Jeffery S. (Valerie) Mustin of Lodi; grandchildren, Timothy and Andrew Mustin and Brenton and Jeremy Mustin; great-granddaughter, Rachel Renee Mustin; brother, Mervin Deutscher of Santa Cruz and sister, Gail Streyle of Lodi. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Thelma Deutscher and brother, Gerald Deutscher. A chapel service will be held on Monday at 1:00 PM at Lodi Funeral Home with Reverend Eddie Washington officiating. Committal will immediately follow. There is no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to Mission of Mercy, P.O. Box 62600, Colorado Springs, CO 80962, Attn: India Calcutta Work/Huldah Buntain.
