Norman Imeson of Lodi passed away on March 5, 2005 at the age of 72 in Stockton. He was born on December 1, 1932 in Tacoma, WA to Clarence and Fleda Imeson. He moved to California in the late 40's. He proudly served his country as a sonar man on the submarine, "The Carp" during the Korean War from 1951-1953. He returned home to attend college where he received his degree in business administration. Norman was also one of the first (elite) smoke jumpers. He loved sports, camping, fishing, hunting and boating and was especially proud of his grandchildren?s accomplishments. He was in boat sales for thirty-seven years. Norman was a member of Crossroads Community Church. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Betty Imeson of Lodi; children, Dr. Shale and Gigi Imeson of Stockton, Chad Imeson of Stockton and Kyle and Kelly Imeson of Stockton, Geofrey and Stephanie Imeson of Palm Springs; six grandchildren, Dakota Imeson, Quin Imeson, Garrett Imeson, Ashley Imeson,Asia Imeson and India Imeson. A chapel service will be held at Lodi Funeral Home on Friday at 1:00 PM with Pastor Scott Hubbard of Crossroads Community Church officiating. Committal will be private. Visitation will begin on Thursday from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM, continuing from 8:00 AM until service time on Friday at Lodi Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroad Community Church 2223 West Kettleman Lane, Lodi, CA 95242.
