Obituary of Larry Aguiar

Larry Aguiar of Lodi passed away in Lodi at the age of 78 on March 2, 2005. Mr. Aguiar was born in Oakland on January 30, 1927 to Arthur and Mable Aguiar. He was educated at Fremont High School, and then he entered the Army. He moved back to Oakland and attended Laney College. On February 16, 1955 he married Joyce Lee Salinas. They eventually settled in Lodi in 1966. He was a cabinet maker for over 40 years. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, traveling, gardening, but most of all, he enjoyed being with his family. Larry is survived by his wife, Joyce Lee Aguiar of Lodi; children, Kim Aguiar of Maui, Hawaii, Craig and wife, Stephanie Aguiar of Atascadero, son-in-law, Gary Soots of Alameda; grandchildren, Bryan Soots, Alexander Aguiar, Blaine Aguiar and Lucas Aguiar; brothers, Raymond Aguiar of Hayward and Bob Aguiar of Pioneer. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Roxanne Soots in 2002. There is no visitation, and committal is private. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1212 W.
