Obituary of Vickie J. Fields

Mrs. Vickie J. Fields of Stockton and former resident of Lodi passed away Monday January 10, 2005 in a Stockton hospital at the age of 53. Mrs. Fields was born September 14, 1951 in Lodi, California to Warren and Wilma Gregg. Mrs. Fields worked for Wine Country Care Center in Lodi for 10 years before retiring in 2003. Mrs. Fields had previously worked as a beautician at Villa Tress Hair Design in Lodi for many years. She attended and graduated Lodi High School Class of 1969. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, gardening, canning, camping, attending family functions and spending time with her family and friends. She will be best remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Randy Fields of Stockton; 2 sons, Steve Fields of Germany; Randy John Fields of Stockton; 1 daughter, Lacie and husband Luis Perez, Sr. of Cloverdale; 2 brothers, Darryl Gregg of Lodi; Steven Gregg of Tower Park; 1 sister, Karen Bice of Galt; 2 sister in-laws, Patty Jay of Lodi; Jackie Dery of Missouri mother in-law Zelma Fields of Stockton; 2 grandchildren, Luis and Lexis Perez of Cloverdale. She was preceded in death by a sister, Judy McKindley in 1979. A memorial service will be held Saturday January 15, 2005, 11:00 am at the Lodi Funeral Home.
