Jerry Perrin of Lodi passed away in Lodi at the age of 70 on January 8, 2005. Mr. Perrin was born in Lodi on January 6, 1935 to Cecil and Helen Perrin a 4th generation Lodian. He attended St. Anne's Catholic School in Lodi, Christian Brothers High in Sacramento and graduated Lodi High School in 1953, he also attended Delta College. In his youth he was an accomplished athlete, particularly in baseball and basketball. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, and he was an avid sports fan as well as a dog lover. He was self-employed for 52 years as a vineyardist in this area. Jerry was a member of Ducks Unlimited, former member Woodbridge Golf & Country Club and was on the former Grape Festival Board of Directors. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Perrin of Lodi; children, Paige and husband, Mike Baumbach of Lodi, sons, Chris Perrin of Lodi, and Randy Perrin and Tim Perrin of Concord; grandchild, Randy Syrovatka; sister, Jeanne Phillips of Lodi and beloved dog, Hootsie. He will be dearly missed by all. A chapel service will be held at Lodi Funeral Home on Wednesday at noon with Fr. Nathan White of St. Anne's officiating. Graveside committal will be private. A reception will immediately follow the service at Hutchins Street Square "Cottage Room" Visitation will be held at Lodi Funeral Home on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM, continuing Wednesday from 8:00 am until noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Vinewood Dog Lovers Memorial Account, c/o Central California Bank, 89 Lakewood Mall, Lodi, Ca 95242
