William A, Lehr of Lodi passed away in Lodi at the age of 76 on December 27, 2004. Mr. Lehr was born in Antioch, CA on May 12, 1928 to William and Selma Lehr. He moved to Victor when he was a child with his family. He attended Needham School and Lodi High School and then plumbing apprentice school for 5 years. Mr. Lehr had served in U.S. Navy from 1947-1951. He married MaryLou Lindsey on May 4, 1952 at Thornton Community Church. He worked as plumber for 52 years, working for Pinasco Plumbing. He enjoyed jewelry making, hunting and fishing. He will be dearly missed. Mr. Lehr is survived by his wife, MaryLou Lehr of Lodi; daughters, Belinda (Delmar) Allen of Lodi, Dale ( Wayne) Buirch of Lodi, Kim Long of Acampo and Jane(Russell) Stephens of Tuscon, AZ; grandchildren, William Buirch, Michael Long, James Allen, Joshua Long, Katelyn Stephens; great-grandchildren, Ashiley, Shanna and Lindsey; sisters, Pearl Sams of Alexandria, LA and Delores Perman of Acampo. A chapel service will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM at Lodi Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Sammie Walls of Woodbridge Community Church officiating. Committal will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. Visitation will begin on Friday at 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM at Lodi Funeral Home, continuing on Sunday from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM.
