Mary Hepperle of Santa Clara, formerly of the Lodi area, passed away in Santa Clara on December 23, 2004, at the age of 82. Mrs. Hepperle was born in South Dakota on October 19, 1922. She married Jacob Hepperle on January 1, 1943. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, sewing and making Christmas ornaments. Mrs. Hepperle is survived by two daughters; Sharoll Ann Patterson of San Jose and Jacalyn Hearn of Sunnyvale; four grandchildren, Stephanie Rodgers, Holly Patterson, Tamara Patterson and Philip Hearn; two great-grandchildren, Austin Rodgers and Sara Rodgers;sisters, Bertha Derego of Mt. View and Barbara Maurer of Lodi; brother, John Quenzer of Lodi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Hepperle in 1992. A chapel service will be held at Lodi Funeral Home on Wednesday at 1:00 PM with a committal to follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. Visitation will begin on Tuesday at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Lodi Funeral Home, continuing Wednesday from 8:00 AM until 12 noon.
