Obituary of Betty Jean Goehring

Betty Jean Goehring of Lodi passed away in Lodi on December 2, 2004 at the age of 71. Mrs. Goehring was born on September 30, 1933 in Paragould, Arkansas to Warren and Stella Blage. She moved to Lodi in the mid 1940's with her family. On June 20, 1957, she married Elward David Goehring. She has lived in this area for 55 years. Her greatest love was being with her family, particularly her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed. Mrs. Goehring is survived by her children; daughter, Susan and husband, Sterling Gaydon of Woodbridge and son David Goehring of Acampo; 5 grandchildren; Elizabeth and Emily Gaydon; Daniel, James and Lynzy Goehring; sisters, Alma Goehring of Lodi and Euleta Nicodemus of Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elward Goehring in 2002, her parents and her sister, Stella Maple. Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at Lodi Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Perry Kallis of Temple Baptist Church officiating. Committal will immediately follow at Lodi Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Thursday from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM and Friday, 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM. at Lodi Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to donor's choice.
