Sylvia Lorine Foust was born in Percel, Oklahoma on September 13, 1910. Gone to be with our Lord and Savior on December 4, 2004, at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Rev. William W. Foust. Cherished mother of the late Ramona Silveira; infant son, Melvin Leroy Foust. Survived by sons, Bill O. Foust and wife, Betsy of Lodi, Gary K. Foust and wife, Carol of Springdale, Arkansas, daughter Cindy M. Branshaw and husband, Doug of San Carlos, California. 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild In the late 1940s she assisted her husband in home mission work for the Assemblies of God Church in San Andreas and Ione. Later they moved to Oklahoma and pastured churches in the Oklahoma District. They continued their ministry in Arkansas, moving to Lodi in April of 1985. Sylvia's interests included, gardening, painting, leather crafts and sewing. Her primary focus in life was her family and grandchildren. She was a member of Century Assembly in Lodi. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 9th at 1 p.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park with Pastor Dale Edwards of Century Assembly officiating. Visitation will begin on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon at Lodi Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Century Assembly, 550 W. Century Blvd., Lodi, Ca 95240.
