Clinton D. Miller of Galt passed away in a hospital in Sacramento at the age of 83 on November 16, 2004. Mr. Miller was born in Alberta, Canada on August 24, 1921 to Ray and Esther Miller. He married Ethel Geneva Elsner on September 6, 1942 in Alberta. He served in the Royal Canadian Army during WWII. He moved to the Bay Area in 1951 with his wife and family, moving to Galt in 1990. He retired as the Directing Business Agent for I.A.of M.( International Association of Machinists & Aerospace Workers after 52 years with this Union. He enjoyed classic cars, auto racing and volunteering to help different organizations. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Lodi, serving as a past officer and ritual chairman for ten years and a member of the American Steel Car Club. He also was also a very active member of Galt Police C A P. Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ethel Miller of Galt; daughter, Sharon Ibach of Galt; sons, Larry Miller of Valley Springs, Terry Miller of Lake Havasu City, AZ and Ray Miller of Saratoga; 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Ray Miller of Fresno. He was preceded in death by his sister, Henrietta Miller. A Memorial Service will be held at Horizon Community Church, 446 Fairway Drive, Galt on Tuesday, November 23rd at 1:00 PM. There is no visitation, and committal is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1212 W. Robinhood Drive, Suite 5-D, Stockton, CA 95207.
