Barbara F. Turner of Lodi passed away in Lodi on November 4, 2004 at the age of 79. Mrs. Turner was born in Pasadena, CA on May 19, 1925. She earned her Bachelor's of Art Degree in Christian Education. She lived in Lodi from 1958-1968 where she was the Pastor's wife of First Assembly of God and Westside Assembly of God. She returned to Lodi to retire in 1990. Mrs. Turner loved the women's ministry. She was a world traveler and was very gifted and talented in violin and piano, having been a choir director as well. Barbara was a member of Century Assembly Church, Northern California-Nevada District Assemblies of God and Southern California District Assemblies of God. She is survived by her husband, R. Delbert Turner of Lodi; sons, Paul Forrest of Anaheim Hills, CA and Craig Forrest of Fullerton, CA; 4 grandchildren; Brendon, Brittany, Andrew and Anneke Forrest. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gene Forrest on May 17, 1994. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 12 noon at Century Assembly Church with Reverend Dale Edwards officiating. Committal will immediately follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM., Saturday, 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM and Sunday 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM at Lodi Funeral Home.
