Obituary of Sylvia JoAnn Smith

Mrs. Sylvia JoAnn Smith of Lodi and former resident of Galt passed away Saturday October 2, 2004 at her residence at the age of 64. Mrs. Smith was born August 12, 1940 in Los Angeles, California to Henry and Betty Jo Smith. Mrs. Smith worked as bookkeeper for various trucking companies in the Lodi area. She was a member of the Zion Christian Center in Lodi and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by 2 sons, Scott Kyles and wife Janice of Lodi; Mark Jenkins of Redding; 1 daughter, Stephanie Shaffer of Henson, Idaho; 1 brother, Myron Smith of Oakridge, Oregon; 1 sister, Patti Langan of Eugene, Oregon; and 6 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Monday October 11, 2004, 10:00 am the Zion Christian Fellowship, 715 South Central, Lodi. A private interment will be held at the Lodi Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion Christian Fellowship, 715 South Central, Lodi, CA 95240.
