The Body of Christ I would like to say thank you on behalf of Zachary, myself and my family for your generous gifts, thoughts, ad prayers. I would like to share some thoughts that became clear to me the Sunday following Zachary?s passing. Father Kelly gave a homily on the body of Christ. We all are a part of that body and all that goes with it. As my family and all of you spent that week at the hospital with Zach, there were things that happened that cemented the fact within myself. As the week unfolded there were things that happened that were quite amazing. Monday we arrived in Sacramento. As we all gathered it became apparent that we would need a place to stay. Tuesday morning the room next to the ICU had a sign that said YEAGER FAMILY taped to the door. The hospital sign said the ?quiet room?. As most of you know quiet and Yeager doesn?t mix, but what a wonderful place for all of us to be. As the week progressed changes were happening within the Body. The Body of Christ was with all of us. Zach and Heather had recently extended their lease on their apartment. Heather shared with us that she was not sure what to do about that. In sharing someone within the Body of Christ was listening. With 2 or 3 phone calls one knew another who knew another and her mind was eased knowing that the Body of Christ took care of her and the problem was solved through friendships. Kim and I and those who stayed were sleeping on the floors and couches the first days. Then along came the Body of Christ. 2 or 3 phone calls and an R.V. was provided for us on the hospital grounds at the Kiwanis house and R.V. park complete with food and more. As the week went by we all shared love, sorrow and joy. As one person said, sorrow and joy are intertwined and what a wonderful thing to hear that day. These are just a few of many that come to mind as I write this. We all have shared the joy of friendship in this time and we also have shared the sorrow together, should we call it?? The Body of Christ For me that is what has become clear to me in the joy and sorrow of it all, that the Body of Christ is alive in all of us and I, on behalf of Zachary, would like to thank all of you in sharing in the Body of Christ with Zach, myself and my entire family. It is a comfort to us all knowing Zach was blessed to know so many wonderful people in his own life and that he himself is a part of the Body of Christ. In closing there are some readings Kim and I have found comfort in. 1 Corinthians 12; 30 and Philippians 4; 10; 13. Thank you again and God continues to bless us all. Todd Yeager

As a member of Lodi High School's graduating class of 2003, I would like to say that Zach will not be forgotten. Although I was only an acquaintance, I remember that Zach was truly part of the Lodi High community. Not only did he have friends from every side of the spectrum, but Zach's friends were just that. He was the type of person who didn't have to know you to talk to you; and the second he said something to a person a smile was on their face. His memory lives on in the hearts of all he touched. I know that the class of 2003 is proud to be a part of Zach's legacy. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

I met Zach during my Junior and his Senior year of high school and the first time that we met we could not stand eachother, then as time went by, we grew much closer. Zach and I dated for about 3 weeks and then decided that we were better off as friends. We did attend a dance together and it was one of the funnest dances I went to. I remember how much fun we used to have together and how much he always made me laugh. Zach was always there for me no matter when it was or what it was. Never in my life have I met someone with such passion and drive for life. Every memory that I have with Zach will be forever remembered. The times that we shared together are priceless things that hold a special place in my heart. After everything that has happened, I have realized that it was truly a blessing to have been a part of Zach's life. And I will never forget him or the things that he accomplished while he was with us. Zach will truly be missed.

I did not know Zach very well but well enough to know that he was a great person. I only started to get to know him in his last years at the 4h camps. He showed me some of the ropes at Lodi high as well when I was a freshman. Whenever I saw him he would always smile and say hello and never had a frown on his face. My prayers are with the family.

I met Zack when he was a Freshmen at Lodi High. He was always a super sweet kid with a *GREAT* smile. I would see him now and again, then my mom started working at the Hay Station and I would buy him lunch and take it to him. I just learned of his accident today (9/23/04) and am shocked and saddened to hear of his death. Rest In Peace, Zack. You will be remembered for your kindness and that incredible personality (along with that awesome smile)!

As We Remember We knew little that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly. In death we do the same. it broke our hearts to lose you. You did not go alone. For part of us went with you. The day God called you home you left us peaceful memories. Your love is still our guide. And though we cannot see you. You are always at our side. Our family chain is broken. And nothing seems the same. But as God calls us, one by one The Chain will link again. Zachary you will be greatly missed and someday we will meet again. God needed a special angel by his side and you were the chosen one. God Bless you and rest in peace.

I only got to know Zack these past two months as he worked for payless in copper. Even though we didn't know each other for that long, he was still a good friend of mine. We hit it off the first day he starting working at payless, and our friendship grew from there. There wasn't a day that went by that he didn't say "what's up dork?" and I would reply "not much butthead". It was that kind of sense of humor that made us such good friends. Not a day went bye that he didn't make me laugh. There is a Kenny Chesney song that reminds me of Zack every time I hear it. One of the lines in the song says "only the good die young." I truely believe this with all of my heart. You will forever be missed Zack. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Though for a short time, Zachary was apart of our family. We are deeply sorrowed by this loss, but we are also very grateful he is able to live on through others as well as with the memories he has supplied to us. Even though this is a tragic thing, we have some funny memories of him. When he and the girls went to the mall shopping on afternoon, Zachary tried to be a funny guy (like we all know he is), and he ran up the down side of the escalator. As soon as he got to the top he fell. He was so embarrassed but we all laughed so long about it. He even had the scar on his knee from it. There are little laughs like these that make the memories that we will cherish forever. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Yeager family but please know how truly special your son really is.

I will never forget the times I had with Zach. I miss the times playing soccer in the bright lights and the rainy days. Out of all my friends, Zach was always at my house. He always helped me with the yard work. I remember the times camping and going hunting with our big bad pellet guns. We both have been hurt from eachothers cars which makes us even. Just the other day i found a sock from which Zach had stuffed his shoe with. I'll keep it safe for you bud-

His memories still remains inside our walls. Zach Yeager's laugh can still be heard.... His love for cereal and The Little Rascal's too.....His contagious smile, that would make you beam, and the LONGEST eyes lashes that you've ever seen. Always helping when needed you see, he helped cut down our mulberry tree! Getting stuck on that ONE last branch, but he didn't care, he took that chance!!!!!! Helped us with his muscle power, helped sand down our deck for hours!!!! We will miss Zach at the RedBarn House, but his memories live with us without a doubt!!! Our thoughts are with you!

Well Where do I start Zachary is a great person. I am writing this many months after his death. I love Zack very much and I cant beleive he is gone. He taught me so many things in the short year that we dated. We had so many plans for our future together, like getting married and having a family. Im very lost without him. One of the most memorial things that he did was send me two dozen roses and a teddy bear to my work. No one had ever done that for me before and I was so blown away that I cried. (By the way he did this the first week we started dating.) When Todd (Zack's Dad) saw the recepit for the flowers he told Zack that he could have picked flowers from the backyard for free cause of the price that he payed. I am never going to forget Him and i think about Him mulitiple times each and every day. One of his favorite songs that he would sing to me is a country song by Andy Griggs SHE THINKS SHE NEEDS ME, it is a great song about a couple the women thinks she cant live without the man but the man thinks he needs her more. I deffinately need Zack more then ever and wish and pray every day that he was here. I know he is in a better place now. Im here for anyone who ever wants talk, hang out, or whatever. I Love You Zachary RIP, It wont be to far awy till im there with you.

When I first met Zach was at a BBQ on Father's Day when I was in the seventh grade. I instantly fell in love with his bright eyes and his easygoing attitude. He was so witty and charming, I thought he was the coolest ninth grader in the world. There are so many wonderful things about Zach, which is what made him such a good person. I'll never forget the time he gave me a ride home and I had forgot my key. Without hesitation he waited with me so I wouldn't have to wait in the rain, even though he needed to go to work. Everytime I needed him he was there for me, when he worked at Payless in Lockeford I'd make up some excuse for something I needed so my mom would take me there and I could talk to Zachary. He'd always listen and he always cared. No matter what happened to him he was one of the most positive people I had ever met. I'll never forget riding around with him listening to Tom Petty "Free Fallin'," and how patient he, David, and Don were when they tried to teach me how to wakeboard. I'll remember his excitement for life that made him always ready to get up, make the most of life, and do something fun(like jog close to 20 miles with David to get to my house and go swimming.) Even though I had kind of lost touch with Zach recently, his absence has left a void in my heart. I love you and will always miss you, you were the best. And yeah Zach, it's funny how things work out.
