Obituary of Etta Mae Jennings

Etta Mae Jennings of Lodi passed away in Lodi on September 4, 2004 at the age of 84. Mrs. Jennings was born in Hurley, New Mexico on December 8, 1919 to Claude and Effie Dannelley. She was educated in New Mexico and married Neal Jennings in Santa Rita, New Mexico. They moved to Stockton in 1945, later moving to Lodi where they built their home in 1968. Mrs. Jennings was an accountant for R.I. Miller and Lyman & Kiester, working for 25 years. She retired in April of 1978. She enjoyed reading, but most importantly, she loved being with her family. She is survived by her son, Donald Jennings of Lodi; grandson, Neal D. Jennings of Olympia, WA; sisters, Evelyn Phillips and Bernice Arnold of Las Cruces, N.M. She was preceded in death by her husband, Neal Jennings in 1992; sons, Byron N. Jennings in 1948 and Delbert O. Jennings in 2003. There was no visitation, and committal was private.
