78 years of age, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, Thursday, September 2, 2004 at Modesto Rehabilitation Hospital after undergoing hip surgery. Born Mary Margaret McClure in Stotts City, Missouri on April 2, 1926, she was 3rd born of 9 children. She moved with her family to California when she was 16 years of age, meeting and marrying her husband, Walter Warren Bogges in 1943 in Lodi, CA; then moved to Corralitos in 1948. After the horrific floods of 1955, they had lost their entire home and everything in it as it all went down the Corralitos Creek. The family moved to Freedom. She worked for over 20 years at Bob Scurich Orchards & Cold Storage and raised 5 children: Larry(Phyllis) of Watsonville, Barbara ( Mike)Johnson of Stockton, Kenneth(Marie) of Watsonville, Betty (George) Ellison of Stockton, Walter (Missy) of Troutdale, Oregon; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren, with one more on the way and many nieces and nephews. She always enjoyed seeing her family and having them over for big dinners, especially on Thanksgiving; they were like family reunions. She liked to play bingo and looked forward to trips to Reno and Lake Tahoe. She was the greatest mother of all, never saying a harsh word about or to anyone. The memories of her will always be with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1994, with whom she had been married to for 50 years at his passing; a brother, James, and 3 sisters (Gladys, Ruby and Lil.
