Obituary of Dorothy Johnson

Dorothy Johnson, formerly of San Francisco, passed away in Lodi, CA on August 27 at the age of 85. Dorothy was born to Arthur and Frances Bennett in England on December 2, 1918. Her family moved to Canada, eventually settling in San Francisco. She lived in San Francisco until 1977, when she moved to Oakmont in Santa Rosa. She had been employed at Bank of America in San Francisco as Vice-President of Leasing for 21 years prior to moving to Santa Rosa. In August of 2001, she moved to Clements, CA to be with her son. She enjoyed reading and gambling in Reno. She is survived by her son, Russ Johnson of Clements; daughter, Pamela Johnson of New York; grandchildren, Michael Johnson, Fred Johnson, Channon Johnson, Tony Barbaria, Jr. and Kim Barbaria; great-grandchildren, Travis Johnson and Vincent Barbaria; brother, Bill Bennett of Redwood City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie C. Johnson in 1972. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer?s Aid Society of Northern California, 105 S. Washington Street, Lodi, CA 95240. There is no visitation, and committal is private.
