Myrtle Greve of Lodi passed away in Lodi at the age of 88 on July 28, 2004. Mrs. Greve was born in Canada on November 13, 1915 to Charles and Laura Elvin. The family moved to California when Myrtle was 7 years old. She married William Greve on January 12, 1934 in Los Angeles. They moved to Lodi in 1962. She was a homemaker, and she was well-known for the beautiful wedding cakes that she decorated. She enjoyed sewing, but her great love was her family. She was a member of the English Oaks Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She is survived by her three children; William Greve of Los Angeles, Beverly Jean Miller of Mariposa and Nancy Reid of Lubbock, Texas; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Greve was preceded in death by her husband, William Greve in 1993, 3 sisters and 1 brother. There is no visitation, and the service and committal are private.
