Obituary of Gilberto G. Sosa

Mr. Gilberto G. Sosa, Sr. of Victor passed away Monday July 5, 2004 in a Sacramento hospital at the age of 61. Mr. Sosa was born August 14, 1942 in Michoacan, Mexico to Vicente and Natalia Sosa. Mr. Sosa worked as a labor foreman for Hillard Knoll vineyards for the past 40 years. Mr. Sosa was a member of St. Ann?s Catholic Church, the Lodi Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed fishing, grafting fruit trees, family bar B-Q?s and spending time with family and friends. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Mrs. Alicia Sosa of Victor, 1 son, Gilberto G. Sosa, Jr. and wife Zugey of Acampo, 1 daughter, Maggie and husband Dennis Saragoza of Ceres, his mother, Natalia Sosa of Victor, 1 brother Gustavo Sosa of Victor, 2 sisters, Lilia Hernandez of Wood Bridge, Martha Acosta of Victor and 6 grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held Friday July 9, 2004, 10:00 am at St. Ann?s Catholic Church in Lodi, followed by interment at Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery. A rosary will be held Thursday evening at 6:30 pm at the Lodi Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday 12:00-8:00 pm at the Lodi Funeral Home.
