Obituary of William G. Taddei

Mr. William G. Taddei a life long resident of Acampo passed away Wednesday May 26, 2004 in a Lodi hospital at the age of 83. Mr. Taddei was born December 3, 1920 to Alex and Angelina Taddei. Mr. Taddei was a local farmer own and operated Taddei Family Ranch in Acampo for the past 65 years. He attended local schools graduated Lodi High School Class of 1940. He was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, the Eagles Lodge of Lodi, S.I.R.S. of Lodi and the Lodi Italian Club. He enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by 2 sons, William Taddei, Jr. of Modesto, John Taddei of Stockton, 1 nephew, Alex Taddei and wife Rosalie of Lodi, 3 nieces, Virginia Haws and husband David, Frances Scott and husband Zack, JoAnn Lang and husband Mike all of Lodi, 1 grandson Justin Taddei of South Carolina, sister in-law Alma DeRicco, and husband Lawrence of Stockton. He was preceded in death his wife Mabel Taddei in 2003, 1 brother John Taddei in 1983, 1 sister Emma Taddei in 1918. A rosary and mass will be held Wednesday June 2, 2004, 11:00 am at the St. Anne's Catholic Church in Lodi, followed by interment at the Galt Cemetery.
