Obituary of Joyce Lynn Rutledge

Joyce Rutledge of Lodi passed away in Lodi at the age of 65. She was born in Bakersfield on July 15, 1938 to Clarence and Lillian Rutledge. She moved to Stockton 38 years ago, settling in Lodi 11 years ago. She was self-employed as a caterer, and she owned her own janitorial business. She enjoyed gardening, particularly roses, cooking, but her greatest love was her daughters and her three grandsons. She is survived by daughters, Sandra Klarer of Stockton and April Poole of Lodi; 3 grandsons and sister, Darlene Smith of Stockton. She was preceded in death by her sister, Beverly Punta. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 12 noon at Lodi Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Dennis Johnson of First Congregational Church of Stockton officiating. There is no visitation.
