Mrs. Louella Louise Parkerson of Stockton and former resident of Fresno has gone to be the Lord Thursday April 1, 2004 at the age of 76. Mrs. Parkerson was born August 1, 1927 in Dinuba, California to John and Millie King. Mrs. Parkerson was a homemaker and a devoted minister wife. Mrs. Parkerson was vital part of the pastoral ministry with her husband at the River of Life Church in Stockton. She was a past president of the Pentecostal Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the music ministry of the Church. She will be best remembered as a loving wife, sister, and friend to all who knew her and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Pastor Nelson Parkerson of Stockton, 1 brother, Kenneth King of Stockton, 3 sisters, Doris Henton of Galt, Wanda Anderson of Valley Springs, Kathy Kinard of Lodi, numerous nieces and nephews along with many brothers and sisters of the faith. A church service will be held Tuesday April 6, 2004, 12:00 noon at Century Assembly, 550 W. Century, Lodi, followed by interment at the Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery in Lodi. Visitation will be held Monday 12:00 ? 8:00 pm at the Lodi Funeral Home. Remembrances can be sent to the Louise Parkerson New Church Fund, P.O.Box 8686, Stockton, CA 95208-0686 in lieu of flowers.
