Magdalene "Maggie" Propes was born June 8, 1905 in Martin, North Dakota. She passed away April 2, 2004 in Lodi, California. She was 98. Maggie has lived in Lodi since 1940 and was a longtime member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. She is survived by her step-daughters; Barbara Ann Jones of Lodi, and Jeanne Campbell of Huntington Beach, sisters; Alvina Werner and Emma Reiswig of Loma Linda, 3 nieces, 4 Grandchildren and 4 Great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John Propes and her sister Martha Kaftan. Friends may visit Sunday from Noon until 8 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home, 725 S. Fairmont Ave., Lodi, and are invited to attend Graveside Services on Monday at 1 p.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park.
