Obituary of Esther May Bohman

Esther May Bohman passed away in Lodi at the age of 89 on March 11, 2004. Mrs. Bohman was born in Shelley, Idaho on June 19, 1914. She was educated in the Fresno area and graduated from Clovis High School. She married Mr. Gustaf Bohman in 1936. They lived in the Culver City area and then in the San FernandoValley. They first moved to Stockton 18 years ago and then in 1993, she moved to Lodi. She was a homemaker, and she enjoyed singing and writing. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Mrs. Bohman is survived by her son, Alan Bohman of Riverside; daughters, Linda Wright of Lodi and Karen Detwiler of Placerville; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gustaf Bohman and brother,Clarence Chandler and sister, Jennie Chandler. A Service will be held in the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park on Sunday at 10:30 AM. Committal will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. Pastor Ron Carlson of the Seventh Day Adventist Church will officiate. Visitation will be held at Lodi Funeral Home on Saturday from 9AM until 8 PM.
