Obituary of Marjorie Crete Kornacki

Marjorie Crete Kornacki of Lodi passed away in Lodi on March 2, 2004 at the age of 85. Mrs. Kornacki was born in Willows, California on July 26, 1918. She attended and graduated from Mills College in the Bay Area. She married Vic Kornacki, Sr., 48 years ago. She had worked for the State of California as a stenographer for 30 years. She has lived in Lodi for 65 years. She enjoyed going to Tahoe, Reno, the mountains, traveling and spending time with her puppy, Chrissy. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Koenig of Lodi; son, Victor Kornacki of Lodi, granddaughters, Shelly Koenig of Groveland and Julie Geer of Elk Grove; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dick Crete of Lodi, Bob Crete of Sacramento and Darrel Crete of Fair Oaks. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Victor Kornacki, Sr.; brother, Ellis Crete, sister, Melba Hinchman, brothers, Charles Crete, Bill Crete, Don Crete and grandson, John Koenig, Jr. There will be a memorial service on Monday at 11:00 AM at Lodi Funeral Home Chapel with Bob Boswell officiating. There is no visitation and inurnment will be private at Lodi Memorial Cemetery.
