Obituary of Theodore Dietrich

Mr. Ted Dietrich of Lodi passed away in Lodi on March 1, 2004, at the age of 90. Mr. Dietrich was born in Harvey, N.D. on July 13, 1913. He was educated at Cheyenne River Academy in Harvey. He moved to California in 1937. He married Louella Grabinske in 1940. They have lived in Lodi in the house he built for 52 years. Mr. Dietrich was a carpenter for 40 years. He had worked at L.P. Singer before his retirement. He was in the US Navy during WWII. He had been a resident of Lodi for 62 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, gardening, bowling and traveling. He was a member of the Fairmont Seventh Day Adventist Church. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Louella Dietrich of Lodi; daughters, Judy Callahan of Lodi and Norene Dietrich of Stockton; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Lloyd Dietrich of Palo Cedro,CA He was preceded in death by an infant son,; brother, Alvin Dietrich, Elilah Horst, sister and Wesley Dietrich, brother. There will be a Chapel Service on Friday at 2:30 at Lodi Funeral Home with Pastor Harley Schander officiating. Visitation is Friday from 8AM until 2:00 PM at Lodi Funeral Home. Interment is private.
