Lorraine Elliott of Stockton passed away in Lodi at the age of 66 on February 24, 2004. Mrs. Elliott was born in French Camp, CA on November 23, 1937. She attended Manteca High School. She married Lawrence Elliott on May 2, 1969. She had also lived in Lockeford until 1978 when she moved to Stockton . She has been a resident of the San Joaquin Valley her entire life. She was self-employed as an insurance agent. Her greatest joy was being with her family, particularly during the holidays. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Elliott of Stockton; children, Larry and wife, Nancy, Elliott of Modesto, Steve Buck of Lodi, Cindy and husband, Ken, Parkerson of Lodi, Joy and husband, Chris, Huffman of Galt; mother, Sybil Hoover of Stockton; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Larry Hoover of Stockton; sisters, Lavonne Leverett of Turlock, Deanna Sarich of Washington, Sharon Alert of Texas, & Barbara Phelps of Indiana. A Memorial Service will be held at Lodi Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM on Friday with Father Alfred Alexander of St. Anne's Catholic Church officiating. There is no visitation, and inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1-800-227-2345.
