Lawrence J. Seymour passed away in Lodi at the age of 73 on December 24, 2003. Mr. Seymour was born on November 8, 1930 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He had been a resident of Lodi for the last 30 years. Mr. Seymour moved to Lodi in 1974. He was a truck driver, working for Lodi Trucking until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, model airplanes, radio control and gold mining. He is survived by his children: Yvonne Tetzlaff of Michigan, Michael Seymour of Dinuba, Christine Rhodes of Michigan, Michelle Mlejnek of Kentucky, Doug Seymour of Michigan, Pat Seymour of Michigan and John Seymour of Michigan; loving companion of 30 years, Stella Mattheus; 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; Siblings, Sister Denise of Ohio, Alice Burch of Michigan, Pat Nash of Arizona, Dan Seymour of Florida, Richard Seymour of Michigan and Robert Seymour of Arizona. He was preceded in death by sons, David Seymour and Robin Seymour. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Western State Affiliate, Gift Processing Dept., 1710 Gilbreth Road, Burlingame, CA 94010. There is no visitation or service, and committal will be private.
