Charles Albrey "Chuck" Morrison was born May 25, 1930 in Hot Rock, Tennessee. He passed away November 10, 2003 at a local hospital. He was 73. After completeing school in Tennessee Mr. Morrison joined the U.S. Army where he served for 6 years. He was a Sergeant First Class as well as a recipient of the Purple Heart and several other medals of recognition. After his military service he began his career in Insurance Sales with American General Life, a position he held for 40 years. Mr. Morrison was a member of the Port Stockton Boaters Club, the Stockton Rod and Gun Association, the Carl Ross Post, and the National Rifle Association. He is survived by his wife: Elaine Morrison of Stockton; his son Charles Albrey Morrison, Jr and his wife Vicki of Stockton, daughters; Debbie Hume and her husband Mike of Stockton, Cindy Bertocchini and her husband David of Stockton, Linda Rea and her husband Bernie of Stockton, and Yvette Barnard of Stockton. Grandchildren Charles Albrey Morrison III of Modesto, and Kim Bramlett, Alicia Morrison, Larry Giottonini, Stephanie Saavendra, Nicholas and Angela Bertocchini, Brittany, Julie, and Jenna Rea, and Lindsay and Haley Barnard all of Stockton, and great-grandchildren; Ashley, Jacob, and Charles Albrey Morrison IV, his sisters; Louise Whedbee of Knoxville, TN, and Donna Griffen, Sandra Norris, Gayle Pryor, Bessie Powers and Sheliah Fentress all of Nashville, TN., and will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother; John David "Butch" Morrison, and his sister; Rebecca "Becky" Morrison. Friends may visit Wednesday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. and are invited to attend Funeral Services on Friday, 10:00 a.m. at Lodi Funeral Home, 725 S. Fairmont Ave., Lodi, with interment at Lodi Memorial Cemetery immediately following. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
