Obituary of Rosario Clardy

Rosario M. Clardy. 42 of Lodi passed away October 23, 2003 in Lodi. She was born Rosario M. Pericao, on July 30, 1961 in Ilhavo, Portugal. Mrs. Clardy moved to Lodi on December 17, 1967, with her family, from Portugal. She was educated in Lodi, graduating from Tokay High School in 1980. She married David Clardy in 1988. She was a devoted wife and mother; she loved all of her family, and was always a thoughtful person. Mrs. Clardy was a resident of Lodi for 36 years. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church; Club Portuguese of Stockton; I.D.E.S. of Stockton, and S.E.S. of Elk Grove. Her hobbies included dancing, crossword puzzles, bingo, and Portuguese events. Mrs. Clardy is survived by her husband, David Clardy of Lodi; son, Alex Clardy of Lodi; daughter, Kalee Clardy of Lodi; father, Joseph Pericao and step-mother, Rosa both of Lodi; brother, Joe Pericao and wife Susan of Elk Grove; sisters, Marie Pires and husband, Manuel of Lodi; Goreti Stice and husband Larry of Lodi; sisters-in-law, Diana Bean and her husband Gary of Lodi; Patti Sweat and her husband George of Bakersfield; parents-in-law, Carl and Judy Clardy of Lodi; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosalinda Pericao in August of 1996. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may made to the Rosario Clardy Memorial Fund; Central State Credit Union, 231 Lakewood Mall, Lodi, CA. 95242. Friends may visit Monday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Tueday from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Lodi Funeral Home, 725 S. Fairmont Ave., and are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church (corner of Church and Walnut) with Father Silveira as the Celebrant. Interment will be at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi immediately following the service.
