Obituary of Eddie Carl Johnson

Eddie was taken from us suddenly by stroke and after several days passed away on December 6, 2004 Funeral services will be held Friday, December 10th, 10:00 AM at Lodi Funeral Home. Committal will immediately follow at Glen View Cemetery in Clements. Eddie was born August 18, 1947 in Bakersfield, CA. He attended Arvin High School, graduating in 1965. Eddie served in the Vietnam War as a clerk-typist in Alaska from 1967/68-1969/70 reaching a rank of Sergeant. The past 35 years Eddie had enjoyed living and working in the Lodi area. Eddie loved the outdoors and enjoyed the wildlife inhabiting the area where he lived. He had an avid interest in sports and enjoyed watching his favorite sport teams playing ball of all types. Eddie was a kind and gentle soul and was always willing to help friends and family in need. Eddie was loved by his family and close friends and will be greatly missed. Eddie was preceded in death by his wife Merv Frink Johnson. Eddie is survived by his son, Todd Johnson, parents Allen and Bonnie Johnson, sister Tammy Bonderov and her husband David, niece Hannah, brother-in-law Kim Frink and family, ex-wife April Johnson, step- sons, Rick and Brian and step-daughter Kendra, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held Thursday from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM at Lodi Funeral Home.
